Respect the realm
No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, spam, impersonation, or disruptive behavior. Keep names and builds appropriate.
THE REALM CODEX
A good realm
starts with us.
Play fairly, leave room for your neighbors, and help keep Amissa welcoming.
PvE means cooperation
No griefing, stealing tames or eggs, dragging danger to another tribe, luring NPC raids into other bases, or trapping players.
Leave Amissa open
Do not block caves, artifacts, terminals, obelisks, spawn areas, travel routes, or important resources. No land claiming with scattered pillars or foundations.
Build with purpose
One main base and one small outpost per tribe. Keep builds reasonable and clean up unused structures and taming traps within 24 hours.
Breed responsibly
Keep breeding under control. Avoid unattended baby floods and excessive loose creatures. Use storage and stop breeding when you are done.
Play fairly
No meshing, duplication, cheats, macros that automate gameplay, or exploiting bugs. Report problems privately. In-game trading is welcome; real-money trading is not.
Help us help you
Report bugs and rule violations in the ASA Discord with useful details. Appeals go privately to staff. Loss replacement is not automatic; wipes and significant changes are announced in advance.
Before your first expedition
How do I join?
Open ARK: Survival Ascended, select Join Game → Unofficial, enable player servers and search Shadow Realm Ascended. There is no join password. The map and required mods download through ASA.
How do I open the in-game menu?
Press F1 on PC. Controller players can use WBUI2 in the survivor radial menu. The guide opens automatically on a first join.
How does imprinting work?
Maturation is 30x. Cuddles are scheduled every 4 minutes 48 seconds, with a 5x imprint amount multiplier. Interact promptly; species and timing affect completion. Report problems with the creature species and timestamps.
How do I recover my items?
AP: Death Recovery provides manual recovery with a 10-minute cooldown. Recovery is restricted to your own items. Report unexpected behavior in Discord; replacement is not automatic.
Will the server wipe?
There is no promised fixed wipe schedule. Significant changes and planned wipes will be announced in the ASA Discord.
Who can help?
Realm Guides assist survivors, Shadow Wardens moderate, Ascended Council administers, and Realm Sovereign identifies the owner. Use the ASA Discord for support and private appeals.
